The hero section - does this communicate the value clearly?

Launching QR Flyer Studio very soon. Need honest feedback before I ship.

Hey,

I'm launching a new project in few weeks and I need your eyes on the landing page before I ship it.

It's called QR Flyer Studio - a tool that lets you design professional event flyers with custom QR codes built in.

The landing page is live (in preview), but I want honest feedback from people who would actually use something like this.

What I'm Building

QR Flyer Studio helps event organizers, restaurants, and small businesses create professional flyers with integrated QR codes in minutes.

— Quick Break —

Before we continue, a word from this week's sponsor:

You can (easily) launch a newsletter too

This newsletter you couldn’t wait to open? It runs on beehiiv — the absolute best platform for email newsletters.

Our editor makes your content look like Picasso in the inbox. Your website? Beautiful and ready to capture subscribers on day one.

And when it’s time to monetize, you don’t need to duct-tape a dozen tools together. Paid subscriptions, referrals, and a (super easy-to-use) global ad network — it’s all built in.

beehiiv isn’t just the best choice. It’s the only choice that makes sense.

Back to what I’m building...

The problem it solves:
Right now, if you need a flyer with a QR code for your event, menu, or promotion, you either:

  • Hire a designer ($50-200 per flyer)

  • Struggle with Canva + a separate QR code generator

  • End up with something that looks unprofessional

QR Flyer Studio combines both in one tool with 50+ professionally designed templates.

What's On The Landing Page

Template categories - is this too many options or helpful organization?

The headline:
"Design stunning flyers with custom QR codes. Perfect for events, businesses, restaurants, and personal projects."

Template categories:

  • Anime & Manga (4 templates)

  • Music & DJ (3 templates)

  • Sports & Gaming (2 templates)

  • Tech & Conferences (5 templates)

  • Food & Events (4 templates)

  • Nature & Eco

  • Minimalist

  • Creative / Art

  • Seasonal Themes

What I Think Is Working

1. Clear value proposition
Within 3 seconds, you know what the tool does and who it's for. No vague "design platform" messaging.

2. Visual organization
Templates are categorized by use case, so you can quickly find what's relevant to you.

3. Dual CTAs
"Start Creating" for committed users, "Try Demo" for people who want to test first.

4. Niche specificity
Instead of "for everyone," it targets specific users: event organizers, businesses, restaurants.

Feature highlights - is this clear or too much information?

What I'm Not Sure About

This is where I need your help. Here are my concerns:

1. Is the value clear enough?
Does it feel like "just another design tool" or does the QR code integration make it obviously different?

2. Are there too many template categories?
Does having 10+ categories help you find what you need, or is it overwhelming?

3. Does the CTA make sense pre-launch?
Should I keep "Start Creating Now" or change it to something like "Get Early Access" or "Join Waitlist"?

4. Is anything confusing?
What makes you pause or question what this tool actually does?

What I Need From You

Look at the screenshots above and tell me:

Quick gut check:

  • Does this make sense in 3 seconds?

  • Would you use this (or know someone who would)?

  • What's the most confusing part?

Specific feedback:

  • Is the headline clear?

  • Are the template categories helpful or overwhelming?

  • What would make you click "Try Demo"?

  • What's missing that would help you decide?

Just hit reply. Even one sentence helps more than you think.

I'm launching next week, so your feedback actually impacts what I ship.

Why I'm Asking You

I've shipped products before (QuickBrander ranked #43 on Product Hunt), and one lesson I learned: the landing page matters more than I thought.

People don't give you more than 3 seconds. If they're confused, they leave.

So before I launch QR Flyer Studio, I want to make sure the page actually communicates the value clearly.

Your perspective - whether you'd use this or not - helps me see what I'm missing.

What's Next

Based on your feedback, I'll:

  1. Update the landing page this week

  2. Send a follow-up showing what I changed

  3. Launch officially next month

If you want to be notified when it's live, just reply and let me know. I'll make sure you hear about it first.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this.

See you next time,
Better Every Day

P.S. If you have a landing page you're working on, send it over. Happy to return the favor and give you honest feedback.
